Lowering of thyroid medication and antibodies

After experiencing hyper-like symptoms, my endo redid my labs.  My antibodies are almost back in normal range, and I can only handle about half the dose of thyroid medication I was on.  He thinks it is a Hashis swing and is lowering meds for one month.  What would cause my antibodies to fall from over 3000 to 60, and could this maybe signal the beginning of remission?

Thank you for sharing the article.  It was very interesting.  I honestly have no idea how my antibodies got so low.  I have moved to the beach three years ago, and its a much slower pace.  Have also eliminated several foods from diet, corn, soy and dairy.  The other thing I wonder about is I had an ablation 2 years ago, and no longer have heavy long periods.  Perhaps it is a combination of these changes, as well as prayer.  I am anxious to see my labs next month.

My mother had her thyroid antibody results back the other day.  TgAb back to normal range and TPOAb from 1200's to around 300 (not sure of exact numbers offhand).

She isn't on medication (has had Hashimoto's thyroiditis for 8 years now) and she no longer has sleep apnea, shortness of breath, dizziness, and her body temp has risen. She cut out sugar, eats more fruit, improved selenium levels, corrected magnesium deficiency, switched to spring/rain water, lost weight, and isn't as stressed.

Elaine Moore has an entitled Thyroid Disease Triggers. It's far too long an article to post but here is a little tidbit... :)

"When environmental triggers are identified and withdrawn, thyroid antibody levels fall and thyroid conditions improve."

"Armed with knowledge as to what environmental triggers may be contributing to and worsening their thyroid conditions, patients can incorporate appropriate lifestyle changes into their healing program. Many patients with autoimmune thyroid disease troubled by fluctuating thyroid hormone levels, poor responses to replacement hormone and anti-thyroid drugs, or dramatic waxing and waning of symptoms report major breakthroughs within six weeks after avoiding their suspected environmental triggers."

TPOab and TGab both down.  Testing TSI end of month when we redo labs.

Which antibodies went down?  Were you both TPOab and TGab positive?  Have you ever had TSI tested?
