I used to watch "Charlies Angels" with my grandparents. While watching the news at
their house tonight, my grandfather (who is 92) said, "There's my girlfriend", when
her picture came up on the screen. I saw a couple of the made for t.v. movies she
did, and realized she could really act! She was fantastic and I feel so sad that she
had to live her last few years in so much pain, not to mention how having that
particular cancer must have affected her pride. But she kept on smiling that gorgeous
smile.
Michael was on top of the world when I was in high school. Had the Thriller album and played it constantly. He was a stupendous entertainer, an original to be sure.
His personal life was so sad, from what has been portrayed, like a lost little boy
inside a grown man's body. I am sad that another era and great entertainer has
come to an end.
Farrah was my idol all these years. I totally adored her.
Michael.. I loved his music - but I had issues with his sense of oddness. I think he "inside" was never happy with HIM and was trying to do things in a very extremem way.
Still sad of his passing. He was a brilliant pop artist.
They say cardiac arrest although they are also saying that he took sleeping pills, went into a coma and didnt come out of it.
I guess we will all find out eventually.
Its just a sad loss.
One legal aspect of it is that when a person dies, there debts die with them so his assets and property can never be claimed on and will belong to his kids.
What did Micheal die of? He was just 50!! Farrah still young, really, but cancer, and anal cancer. I have not known anyone or heard of anal cancer. We will all have to brush up on that, and how to avoid it.
We had just watched her 2 hrs cancer story "Farrah's Story" less than a week ago, that's really sad for both of them, I liked them both. Michael was the singer of my teenage years, great times.
I knew Farrah wasn't doing well, and that in itself was sooo sad. Darned cancer. But Michael's death was a complete surprise. How sad. His "Thriller" album was one of my absolute favorites in high school!!!
