Hello!I
This with nodules is a mess - I think having had a multigoiter for 15 years and the last year a nodule started to grow from 2 cm+ to 4.4cm - and itis partially solid and cystic. I have been for biopsies the last 2 years but before also - but this time I am upset as the last biopsy was in May and had a scan in November andsaw the doctor on Friday - and he mentioned to me that the sample taken in May did not contain enough cells to rule out cancer.- I trusted them going in there - this is in Florida - Port St. Lucie on the east coast - and did not worry about the results as I thought if something is not right they get back to me - I have had a lot of headaches and migraines and also have fibromyalgia. So he wanted to take half thyroid out and I asked for another biopsy and I won't get one until end of February - this is not right and the nodule has increased double! The nodule is 4.4cm now. Anyone else with nodules and biopsies - and if anyone knows a real specialist of thyroid issues please then let me know.

My diabetes is not perfect but ok last hba1c was fine. Doctor ordered blood check for thyroid and said it was between the levels it should have been. But i feel tired but could be my job i guess have two teenage daugters one with special needs hence i do get stressed. Im thinking hoarseness more to do with constant shouting been teaching 12 years solid and i wonder if that the course damaged larynx but on top of that i can feel pressure on my throat when i swollow and if i push larynx to one side can hear the lump dig against it. I dont know last results but sure i can find out.
Please post whatever "normal" thyroid hormone tests you have, and be sure to include reference ranges, which vary lab to lab and have to come from your own report.
Have you been tested for Hashimoto's Thyroiditis? If not, you need to be?
Hoarseness is a symptom of being hypo, so even though your levels are "normal", I'd have to question whether they are "normal" for you....
