Stella5349;
What is NDT
In the engineering world that I work in, that stands for non destructive testing. Somehow I don't think that is what you meant.
Best advice I can give you is make sure you understand the importance of the FREES and push no matter what to get them done and understand them too.
Shes a good T3 doctor and knows that can help people. Yet she may not jump on the NDT wagon quick unless you are already on it and feel well and need tweeking.
Dr. Rebecca Sippel also.
I am assisting in updating the Top Thyroid Doctor directory and I will have her on there.
She does need some push to order the frees - which you need done but she is a symptomatic concerned doctor and will try her best to relieve the issues quickly.
I should note that I've never need to be tested for FT3 or 4 (only for TSH), and I don't know how Raman stands on those tests.
He's an endo. Very good about ordering tests, trying new things (my issues were not hypo/hyper, but low calcium after thyroidectomy).
Thanks,
Is he an endo or a primary care MD?
It is a start. But it would be out of pocket rather than covered by my insurance since he is outside my HMO.
Dr. Bharat Raman at Dean Health. He's my doctor and he was also recently named one of Madison's "Top Docs."
