New Dr. New Meds

I never got a response to a doctor referral, but I found Dr. DiMarco. I had my rap all ready to go, and he was already ahead of me.  He gave me the option to continue with the Tirosint/Cytomel combo, but making the t3 the more dominant medication, or try Armour.
I chose Armour, and today, started at 90 mg.  I will keep posting, as this progresses, but I must state, I consider what I have experienced with this doctor so far, as an answered prayer.

Don't ever give up hope.  Unfortunately, treating thyroid disease is often trial and error, finding the proper med/dosages.

I'd probably agree with your doctor - stay on the Armour for another week, if you can, and retest.  You will need to retest anyway, before going back to the Synthroid/Cytomel combo, in order to get the dosage right.

There are people who have had issues with Armour after the reformulation last year or the year before

I am day 8 on Armour 90mg, and have to say I am not feeling so good on this medication.  Every day for a week, by 2:30 pm, I am unconscious.  I feel bloated, confused, achy and hungry all the time....
Its truly awful, to be honest.  I spoke with the Dr. and he said to wait one more week, and we can run labs.  I would choose to revert back to the Synth/Cytomel combo and up the t3.
My question is has anyone else had these issues with Armour?  Also, I am apparently Rt3 Dominant, in addition to having Hashimotos.
I again, feel like I am without hope that I will ever feel anywhere near to normal again.
