Oh, your post of 13 hrs ago says your TSH was .20, not 20; now I get it. You might just have to ride it out for a few days, or you will send yourself back to hypoland. You're making too many changes, too quickly again.
It was 20 when I started treatment. Then 5.8, then 2,5. Then hyper land. Today I took 3 immodiums..... Maybe .25 / .13?
When was your TSH .20? If 25 mcg is not enough, but 50 mcg is too much, maybe you could try 37.5 mcg. You might have alternate 25 and 50 go get it.
I think i went up too fast. i think i have all the symptoms of hyperthyroidism. i cut it back to .25 tirosint. I just cant seem to find a spot. I felt good over the weekend, then every day after that i have felt slightly worse. I wonder why with a tsh of .20 it is so hard to take this stuff.
I guess if you do get a TT, there are successful stories here. 16 yrs & still going...
I have not had any issues, but THEN again I am not sensitive to the medication you will need to take for the rest of your life....
just a general comment i really like this website..because i learn a lot from this website..i learn about ft4 and ft3 i mean alot thanks for sharing i really appreciate that..and i learn what to ask my endo..when i see her..you know it really helps me to know that other people out here are feeling what i am ..and its good that i will be ok..not 100 percent but at least ok..i see after this.. people work..and do things after this..again thanks again for sharing..
kinda makes sense. the cytomel will boost up your free t3 , might help with symptoms. and you won't have to wait as it's immediate might help you feel better soon. . and you frees are are the lower side. i guess they're trying to get your labs close to perfect on paper. which is good!
This is just too bizarre. Got a call today that more tests came back.
Graves test was negative
Selenium was sky high! WTF is that all about?
I was also told to lower the t4 and add a drop of cytomel. I was given the smallest dose to take. Any ideas on this?
Ps my throat hurts pretty bad all the time like I have a tie around my neck. Also on the sonogram it showed it was edging over my esophogas.
I am waiting for the graves test to come back. If it's positive, I'm done. I've met a couple people that had tt from hashis only. They have no regrets. I'm barely functionable and my kids are growing up without dad. I'm not going to do anything irrational.
I've told you before, no reputable will do TT with your history. I've been at this for over 3 yrs and have just in the past few months began to do "well"........ meaning, I don't have to sleep all the time, aches/pains are not so bad, food actually goes in one end and comes out the other (yep, that's quite a concept)...... this isn't something that can be washed away over night........ it takes time and patience; and when you run out of patience, you'd better be able to find more, and more, and more........... Like growing old, this disease isn't for sissies....
IM not going to increase. IM going to give this 4 more weeks to see if there is any marked improvement symptom wise. If there isnt, im going to look for a TT. I keep going up and down from hyper to hypo. the hyper is just as bad as the hypo. Everyone i have met on here with TT seem to do better. Its 19 months now of this cr@p!
TSH is far less important than FT3 and FT4; your levels are still relatively low, but if 63 mcg is too much, you might want to stay at 50 mcg for a while........ kl42 is right - give your body time to adjust to the med and heal some before going higher.
you could be right, can't hurt to wait some more time to see. let your body heal , before increasing or not.
I think im on the right dose of tirosint. .63 sends me into shock almost. I know I ramble alot because im delerious. What I was trying to say was that I have heard that most people get better by hitting a target range of around 2.0 tsh with the frees in line. They hold it there for 8-12 weeks and then they suddenly feel better. I am almost at the 2.0 range, and I would like to hold my levels there for another box of tirosint and see if my health improves before considering the alternative which is the TT.
Glad you are finding some answers and a gameplan.

Your labs read so much like mine. My tsh bounces and my Free's always stay pretty good (outside of some extreme readings). My thyroid is also very inflamed and tender. It started with just one side being enlarged, but now they both are. I'd be so interested to know what an uptake would tell you. I'm glad your feeling somewhat better. When my labs read well, I still feel horrible. There is no perfect area for me =( (Not that I stay in one area for long anyway). Good luck on getting there. I really hope you find the golden zone and can stay there!
looks pretty good. a tiny bit more looks like it would fall into place labs. your getting close!
