New symptoms with the new season?

HELLO!  I hope everyone is doing well.  I am back here to post to the forum a question about some side effects I am curious about.  I have gone from a somewhat sedintary lifestyle since my TT surgery last year in August to working out 4 times a week since February.  I have been feeling "normal" for the last 8 months but now; I am itching ALL over my body, the worst areas are in the trunk of my body...stomach, back, butt etc.  My skin is not unusually dry, I apply a lot of lotion etc.  This came on recently after a short bout with Strep Throat.  Since then, I have been feeling a bit weird.  I thought it was the Russian anti-biotics that maybe I was allergic too but, I have been off of them for 2 weeks now and they symptoms have hung on. I am dying from the constant twingy itches.

I feel "good" overall, have good energy and have slowly and progressively lost 15 pounds over the last 4 months through exercise and smarter eating.  I sweat buckets of non-salty sweat when I am working out but, not really just sitting and doing ordinary tasks.  I sweat so much when I work out that they give me a full body towel instead of the little hand towels.  My heart rate can soar very quickly if I am surprised, feeling anxiety, frightened, just starting a workout..etc. but, quickly slows down with the right breathing.  No hand shaking but, do feel a little "hyperactive" at times.

Question:  Can the change in seasons, renewed exercise routine and 10% weight loss give me some hyper symptoms?  I went from 112 mcg to 125 mcg of Synthroid in October and have been on 125 mcg throughout the fall and winter.  I cannot help but wonder if the insane itching, weird dreams, buckets of sweat during the work-outs are because I am just a little too medicated.  The thing is....I am VERY hesitant to go down in my med as the only really really annoying symptom is the itching...but, the itching...is getting crazy.  Thoughts anyone?  Am I barking up the wrong tree?  Should I wait longer than 2 weeks to see if the Russian meds were causing an allergic reaction?  Would love any insights!

It sounds to me like you are overmedicated.  I am going through something very similar and also itching.  I have been losing weight and my dosage of Levo has moved from 100 mcg. down to 50 mcg. and now it's going to have to be lowered again.  A good problem I guess but it sure is causing me some issues.  Hope you feel better soon.

Wanted to get some feedback so, bumping this up.  My itching has turned into more of an all over pinkening of my skin even a bit of a burning sensation in some spots....it feels very much like an allergic reaction but, I have have not come into contact with anything new.  Anyone else experience this?
