New tests-how bad is this????

Once again I don`t speak or write english very well...I got tested again in several months and the results are as follows: T3-1.12(n.v.-0.79-1.49), T4-0.32 (n.v.-0.71-1.85), TSH-92.877(n.v.-0.49-4.67), TPO-1000 (n.v.-<12), because of the value of TSH my doctor told me to run this test again and after 2 days it was-59.675. I asked the lab that did this and they said that the tests are done right and is the correct value...hmmm...then the other tests: VSH-10(n.v.-7-16), glucosis-85 (n.v.-60-120), Ca seric-9.92 (n.v.-8.5-10.6), Magnesium seric-2.23 (n.v.-1.6-2.9), Ca ionic-4.1, WBC-4.95 (n.v.-3.5-10), hematii-4.52 (n.v.-3.80-5.80), hemoglobina-12.7 (11-16.5), hematocrit-36.5 (35-50), PLT-222 (150-390), MCV-80.8 (80-97), MCH-28.1 (26.5-33.5), MCHC-34.8 (31.5-35), RDW-12.6 (10-15), MPV-11.5 (6.5-13), PDW-13.9 (10-18), %LYM-39.6 (17-48), %MON-6.3 (4-12), %GRA-51.3 (43-76), %EO-2.6 (0.7-7), %BASO-0.2 (0.1-1.2), #LYM-2.0 (1.2-3.2), #MON-0.3 (0.3-0.9), #GRA-2.5 (1.2-6.8), #EO-0.1 (0.04-0.54), #BASO-0.0 (0.01-0.08), P-LCR-38.4 (13-43). oK....I took this tests after I stayed one month without medicines, prior to this I took Euthyrox 50 but was very sick....so I phoned my doctor and told her about the results and she decided I should take L-tyroxin 25, continue with Alfa D3 and 10 days of Calcium Sandoz, and after a month of this take the tests again and see what happens.
So please tell what is going on cause my doctor didn`t had the time to explain to me again....:((((

thanks for your advices, no I understood what adrenal problems is:), my english is a little poor. my family doctor who is different of my thyroid doctor suggested that I should do some hepathic tests-I will have my results tomorrow and also an iodo-capture (scientigrama) or something like that(I don`t know the word in english), but with that I think I should better talk to my thyroid doctor cause I heard that there are some radiations or something. Do you think that that will help to see what is happening inside my thyroid?? I will take your adive and ask my doctor to do some tests on paratyroids and kidneys also, cause I`m not feeling still very well, and I want to now all the causes of my illness. Thank you so much!

The normal Ca ionic usually is between 4,5-5,6 mg/dL.The ionized calcium fraction (50%) is influenced by pH changes (low- alkalosis). At this moment with these analyses your low calcium (ionic) could be related to dietary, need more tests to evaluate (parathyroids, kidneys, etc). Most of your lab results are full blood analyses (normal), and P-LCR are for dyslipidemia study. What you really have is hypothyroidism, doctor is going to see how you're responding to calcium/vit D intake, and then he will see if further tests are necessary.

If your adrenal glands are overworked, it affects your thyroid. If your adrenal glands need treating, starting you on thyroid medication often makes you ill.

It looks like your calcium, magnesium, glucose, and some of your blood platelet tests look good. Do you have the lab limits for your calcium ionic?

A lot of the tests are ones I do not recognize.

It's odd that your TSH would drop over thirty points so quickly with no medication to help it along. Makes me wonder if one of the tests was an error.

Your T3 and T4 are very low. You need some sort of thyroid replacement hormones.

I don't know what the majority of your tests are for, but here is a thought.

If you have adrenal problems and you are treated for hypothyroidism, the adrenal problems will interfere with the thyroid treatment and make you sick from the thyroid medication.

That may be your problem. It's also possible that your body just didn't like the Euthyrox, or maybe you are one of the people who needs to start on a very low dose and work your way up to a theraputic dose slowly.

Hopefully other members with more knowledge of tests will help you with the information you have provided.

Best of luck with the new medication.

You have hypothyroidism, autoimmune thyroiditis (because of TPO = 1000). You should do an ultrasound of your thyroid. Because your ionized calcium is low doctor gave you calcium and vitamin D3. You  should repeat your analysis in 4 weeks. Other lab results looks OK.
