THANK YOU FOR YOUR REPLY!!
It only means that so far your antibodies are not at a level that can be definitively diagnosed as Hashi's. So I guess that at this point the tests would be regarded as negative; however, that doesn't change the fact that to relieve the symptoms you have, you will need to start on thyroid med and gradually adjust as needed to relieve symptoms.
You should make sure to be tested for Free T3 and Free T4 each time you go in for tests. If the doctor resists, just insist on it. Since hypo patients are frequently too low in the ranges for Vitamins D and B12, along with ferritin, Those should be tested also. In view of your issue about the antibodies test, you could also get those tested in the future to see if the level has increased.
STILL NOT CLEAR ON THE ANTIBODIES RESULT I know my antibodies are in NORMAL RANGE but what does that mean??? Are the considered positive or negative ???? Thank you
TGAB <20 RANGE <41
anti tpo 44 range <61
tg 12.3 range <55
Upon reviewing your prior thread, I totally agree with what Barb suggested for you.
Here's another thread posted by BJJTT a couple of weeks ago, with the same information, that might be helpful to you:

What was the reference range shown for the TG ab test?

In the words of a good thyroid doctor, ""The free T3 is not as helpful in untreated persons as the free T4 because in the light of a rather low FT4 the body will convert more T4 to T3 to maintain thyroid effect as well as is possible. So the person with a rather low FT4 and high-in-range FT3 may still be hypothyroid. However, if the FT4 is below 1.3 and the FT3 is also rather low, say below 3.4 (range 2 to 4.4 at LabCorp) then its likely that hypothyroidism is the cause of a person's symptoms."
So what symptoms do you have?
