Oral cavity problem, please help!

Hello, I am 30 and I have noticed a white small solid particle-like discharge from the base corner of my throat usually in the mornings during cold season. It is accompanied by slight sore throat. I am not sure what it could be, a form of tonsillitis or some kind of oral lesion? Please help me, could it be something serious? Do I need to visit an expert? Thanks

It could be cryptic tonsils. I have this too. Bacteria and food particles (eeww!) get caught in pockets in the tonsils. It isn't harmful, just gross.

Myself and both of my kids get those. I think the doctor told me once that it was just pus and discharged junk from your tonsils.  Whenever I get them I can just gently mash behind the chunk and it will come out.  My kids use a water pik on theirs.  It's pretty gross!  My daughter gets them quite frequently and I've taken her in and all they tell her is to gargle with salt water.
