TSH Low Enough to be Abnormal?

While waiting for my new endocrinologist appointment in October !!!--reviewing my own blood tests--again.  My TSH came in at .7 and I think that since this is the low end of "normal" that it should warrant some looking into if I keep insisting that I think something is wrong even if these blood tests do not show it.  Found this very good article to back me up in case any one is interested:  http://www.lef.org/magazine/mag2002/nov2002_awsi_01.html

I just cannot seem to get any of them to believe me when I say 30 pounds in two years considering I really and truly do not eat very much and I walk billions of miles a week and work out three times a week just is not right--even if these thyroid nodules did come back benign....

0.7 is not low enough to be considered abnormal.

There are other things that can cause symptoms similar to thyroid problems. Adrenal problems, vitamin or mineral deficiencies, etc. (etc. means I ran out of ideas.)

If your TSH was high four months ago, you could still be suffering risidual effects.

Are you having other obvious symptoms?

A low TSH means you have "Hyperthyroidism".  A high TSH level means "Hypothryoidism".  It's confusing but it works backwards.

My TSH has been running below 0.00.  I am Hyper T.
