I had my thyroid completely removed in 2003. At that time I weighed 100 lbs. This was my natural weight, and I ate whatever I liked. I now weight 122 lbs, and this was gained immediately after the removal. I went from a size 0 to a 6 in about 9 months. I hate it! I spoke to my doctor who tells me I am a normal weight, and he does not consider that this was not my weight prior to thyroid removal. Now, I work out 6 days a week for 3 hours each day. I only eat 1000 calories a day, and I also take a fat burner. Still, I continue to gain weight or loose nothing. It is obvioulsy my thyroid as I have always been the skinniest person. I am so sick of this. What can be done to get me back to my normal size. I am beginning to wish I had left the cancer in.
