Can you have symptoms for both hypo and hyper?
My 2nd doctor said that my thryoid was barely functioning and I told her I had about 90% of the symptoms for hypo. The more I research online I find some symptoms like light or absent menstration that I have but are symptoms for hyperthyroid. Is this possible?
I am wondering if perhaps the doc is waiting for the results of my biopsy before deciding which meds to put me on.
In the reading and "research" I have done, the symptoms are almost identical for both.
If you see a dr and they don't realize that, then they really don't know that much about the thyroid. At least that is my humble opinion.....
