Shortness of breath

hi everyone

anyone have shortness of breath while on PTU? I had it while climbing stairs, but now it has gone to having it just while sitting or laying down, feels like i cannot breath? of course i have had it with exertion since this all began, but to just be sitting there, like now, and have it feel like I am not getting enough air is a bit troublesome to me. Just curious, had a ultrasound last year after they found heart murmur (and graves goodie) and nothing odd to report, also had a stress test a few years ago with nothing significant to report. My dad has serious heart issues so don't want take it lightly so asking my fellow gravers for some insight?

There are a couple of possibilities that occur to me right away.  One is that so-called "air hunger" can be associated with being hypothyroid.  The other is related to low levels of ferritin.  Ferritin is a protein found inside cells that stores iron so your body can use it later.  A ferritin test indirectly measures the amount of iron in your blood and seems to be a precursor to iron levels.  

So, have you been tested for possible thyroid issues?  If so, please post results and reference ranges shown on the lab report.  Also, have you been tested for ferritin, or a full iron test panel?  If so, please post those results and ranges.

I have shortness of breath  I had a pulmonary Function test today  they said my results looked good  I have had every heart test that can be done about 10 days ago  everything looked ok  I found out I have gall stones  what would cause my shortness of breath  it doesnt seem to be my heart   would anymone know anything about this kind of theing?

thanks, having them checked again mid-august, but just had them done in june and everything was ok? we shall see at next blood draw.

I have had that whilst Hypo.
Get your levels checked as it can be from both Hyper and Hypo.
Hope everything is ok with you otherwise.
