Sound Thyroid related?

My wife has had a recent headache which to this point is undiagnosed. She also had some pain in the neck, shoulder and upper back. Went to her OBGYN today and she was told that thyroid seemed a little big and was sending her for blood work. Does this seem like a possible explaniation?
She has been to the ER, GP and maybe a specialist depending on her most recent medication. I just don't see how this can relate to a throid issue.

I just remembered I also am having a weird sensation in my right ear, the same side the lump is on. I feel like " A rag that has had all the water rung out of it." That's how low my energy level is.All I want to do is sleep. What makes it so bad I am a full time student and when the tiredness and the headaches hit, I am unable to study let alone hold my head up. But Good Luck to ur Wife and U. Stay Strong. God puts on us no more than we can bear.

Thank you for your answer. She doesn't have a lump but maybe because it is just the start of something?? Blood has been taken and they are going to be checking it.

I just found out that my tsh level was <0.006 last week...I have been having terrible headaches along with a lump the size of a golfball just above my clavical...I have an appointment with the endo dr the 15th. I too have pain in my neck, shoulders,as well as upper back. It would be worth her time to get it checked.Good luck to u and ur wife

No ear issue.

Yes.  There is a nerve that runs through the thyroid, it continues up the neck.  If it is irritated it can cause ear pain.  When I had a fine needle biopsy of my thyroid, I could feel pain in my ear.  Look up Recurrent Laryngeal Nerve.  It controls your vocal production.
