TGIF Pub night is today ... any ideas for a theme?

Open to all ideas ......... I'll get on to take a look and then we can fly with one ..... I'm brain dead at the moment in the thought dept. and Stella is excitedly getting her blood drawn!

Seems your right now is pretty much what we all want....nice to feel secure and to know that food is on the table at night.
  I wanted to be a medical doctor, an archeologist, a geologist, a scientist, a novel writer, a counsellor, a muscian, a dancer, a traveller....ah..the dreams I had! Sadly, I had to leave school very early and help pay dad's drinking habit...then I got pregnant and married, time moved on and I had 3 children. I worked for Social Security (not the same as the US) and managed to become an investigator...LOVED that job. Hubby left and I was left raising 3 high medically demanding children with no help for 15 years...no wonder I got sick!)
Now I have done some travelling, I do writing every now and then and had some stuff published, the doctor bit only comes in handy when the family want to know what is wrong with them...sigh....the dancer, well, my ipod comes in handy and I am taking dance lessons for the more formal dances. I play a few instruments now and then.
  Right now I want to get healthy enough to write my novel, travel more extensively, study a few languages and get on with living!
  Hang on it's now Monday my time...oh well...TGIF can just continue all week as far as I am concerned!

I wanted to be a teacher - (not no more after working in a school)

I wanted to be a mechanic - did that! beautician - well dropped out of that but know some of it. Roofer - ended up being a helper only. Furnace repairs. - Do that too - "thanks Dad!"

Most importantly I wanted a home - I wasn't sure about having children - byt know that I have them - I'm good with it.

I wanted to be a floral designer - interior - never went to school - but am doing that too...

I suppose I achieved some of my expectations Now I want to quit my  job - worked on a medical community board ( haha) Write grants and recently I started a medical community project doing seminiars on (you guessed it) thyroid disease. Right now I am getting community support from the local hosiptol with the Women's network.

and I wonder why I can't sleep. Right now - I want a clean house - food on our table and a safe and secure home

I had some lofty ambitions as a child, I wanted to be a stuntman and suffer a devisting horse riding accident that left me with a limp. (aye that one stumped all three of my therapists)

Funny thing is I did grow up and do my "own stunts" an did get squashed by a horse who reared up and flipped over on me....leaving me with a limp. HAHAHAHAAhahahahHAHAHAH....oh to be young again and pain free so I caould do all that nutty crazy stuff all over again.

Lady, after all the traveling you just did, and the wonderful experiences you just had, I think that you've achieved "grown-up" status!!!  I wanted to become a Paralegal (did that), become a Bride (did that twice), successfully sue a Lawyer (did that), and have a baby (still working on that!!)!!!!  

Now, I want to be able to have *normal* thyroid labs, and stop worrying about this cr@p so I can enjoy myself!  Now pass me a Coke.  I'm the designated driver on this board tonight!!!

  Me personally; I never grew up so I can't answer it...bwaaah haaaa haaaaaa!
