Tsh 6.89 with elevated Anti TPO antibodies

My TSH level is 6.89 uIU/'ll and normal range according to lab test is 0.30-5.00 uIU/'ml. Free t4 level is 1.38 normal, Anti TG Antibody is 113.2 IU/ml which is in normal range according to lab tests. But my Anti TPO Antibody is 71.3 IU/ml which is little higher than  reference value 0-60. My doctor gave me medication Thyronorm 25 mcg and 50mcg both to be used alternatively.. I have took my first tablet 25mcg and I had very bad symptoms like head ache, heavy headedness, fatigue, shivering. In fact I never had any thyroid symptoms I came to know elevated tsh during my normal body check up. Iam worried to take 50mcg because my body did not accept even 25mcg. I told my doctor regarding the symptoms I had and he gave me melanxit tablet for 15 days. What should be my next step? Should I continue using the medication or go for any further lab tests? Can my thyroid gland be abnormal without any symptoms in my body? I have occasional hair fall and fatigue sometimes.right now I don't have any other symptoms if I am not taking any medication. If I am taking medication I could feel bad symptoms in my body. Please suggest Iam very confused

Could you please tell us the reference range for the Free T4?  Ranges vary from lab to lab and have to come from your own report.  There is no Free T3 result, and Free T3 is the most important hormone as it's the one that's used by individual cells in the body.  Can you get this test done?

I'm not familiar with melanxit, but a bit of research indicates that it might be an antidepressant.  Is that correct?  If not, please tell me what it's used for.  Many doctors find it much easier to prescribe an antidepressant than to simply deal with the patient's symptoms...

That said, it's highly unlikely that you'd get symptoms like that from a single dose of Thyronorm, especially only 25 mcg as it's a very low dose and it takes 406 weeks for it reach full potential in your system; however, it's not unusual for symptoms to worsen or for new ones to appear once one starts on thyroid hormones because the body has to get used to having the hormones it's been doing without.

Like most medications, any side effects typically go away once the body gets used to the medication.

Rarely, people react to fillers, binders or dyes in the pills and have to try pills from a different manufacturer.  In the U.S. the 50 mcg pills have no dye (they're white), so many do okay on those, but not on other dosages.  If yours are that way, you could try splitting 50 mcg pills to get the 25 mcg.  One day you could take half of a 50 mcg pill to get 25 mcg, the next day you could take a whole 50 mcg pill, the next day take the other half of the 50 mcg pill for 25 mcg again... and see if that helps.

My free t4 is 1.38 ng/DL and the reference values are 0.89-1.60. My doctor has tested only free t4, anti tpo antibody which is 71.3 IU/ml and reference values are 0-60, and anti tg antibody which is 113.2 IU/ml and reference values are 0-115. He did not test t3. He prescribed me the medication considering that my thyroid antibodies are positive and both thyroid lobes are enlarged. My anti tpo antibodies are little higher than the normal range and anti tg antibodies are normal. Is this a thing that needs to be considered? Do I need to get my t3 also tested and then start my medication?
