My TSH back in august of 2008 was 1.43.  I did not have any problems at that time.  I got my results from my last blood work yesturday from January 13, 2009.  My TSH  was 4.07. My thyroid has been swollen since the middle of last december.  I go to the endo for the first time on the 24 this month.  My last blood work only had my TSH.  Are there any suggestions when I go to the endo?

I am always tired. The only time I ever feel like I have had enough sleep is when I get a good 10-12 hours of sleep.

I use an ice pack right over my thyroid when it swells....it helps somewhat. Your endo will probably order an ultrasound of your thyroid as well. I would just wait to see what this endo will do and have to say. Your level is only a little off so it isn't at a critical level. Are you fatigued easily?

Yes have him run a complete panel of testing for your thyroid.  TSH, Free T4, Free T3 and demand testing for thyroid autoimmune tests: Hashimoto's and Graves.
Are you on meds and did you get increased after most recent test?
