Thyroid Result 0.03 but no T3 or T4 test yet. Been very ill over 5 weeks

I am a long term candida sufferer and as such have been on a restrictive diet for 4 years.
I eat the same things each day
no sugar, nothing that counts as sugar hidden sugars etc no milk cream or anything with lactose in.
yeast wheat etc
I have been ill enough to keep me house bound 90% of the time for 4 yrs.

I havent been taking vitamins for years.

3 yrs ago when being treated for malignant melanoma ( no chemo req ) the doctor noticed the corners of my mouth were cracked and around my lips were raw. They did a ferritin test and said it came back low and I should get my doctor to investigate why it was low.
My doctor just gave me iron tablets which i didnt take as i was worried about toilet issues.

In nov 08 i tried taking a powerful pro biotic to treat my candida. But after months i was getting iller and weaker so stopped 6 weeks ago.

I started to feel exhausted- weak limbs jelly legs - hard to lift things up spent 5 days just sleeping all day but wasnt poorly as such.
My joints started popping and clicking ( no pain ) at the same time.
Then around 3 weeks ago i started with pain in my wrists shoulders and thumb joints as well as muscle pain in the back of my calf and right arm all the way down and under the arm around the ribs.
The worst only lasted 3 nights.
I get leg aches and lower back aches much like a virus.
Headaches, feelings of having a lump in my throat, sweating a lot on hands feet and under-arms
general feeling of no energy but the initial requirement of sleep has past I just lie in bed all day.

Question is.

Is a 0.03 thyroid result a possible issue? ( the lab range was 0.3 - 5.0 being normal so doctor said it was fine and no action was needed )

Doctor didnt test T3 or T4 sadly.

Bloodcount was fine but I have insisted on a ferratin test.

And because I dont leave the house I suspect I have a vitamin D defficiancy.

Can a deficiancy in ferritin and Vit D cause my symptoms?

And my thyroid level being border line, is it likely I have hyperthyroidism?

I appreciate your feedback and sorry for the long winded post

Well THANKS everyone! lol

For what its worth I found out I was vitamin D deficient (blood serum lvls 21)  so my immune system was unable to cope with candida die off (herx) toxins.

Been taking 5 - 7K UIs a day and getting in the sun for 2 months...which brings on a whole bunch of other symptoms which I think are candida die off as Vit D is a powerful anti viral and fungal and my immune system is now able to react to the overgrowth of candida and at least try and address the imbalance.

its my opinion the deficiency is what caused (at least in part) the development of candida in the first place.

I no longer stick to the diet I was on it was making me weaker and undernourished, I eat pretty much what I want these days...sugar included..

Not saying candida has vanished, of course, it hasnt but for some reason I can eat sugar and I dont have a reaction to it 36 hours later like I used to.. the downside is I have piled weight on! lol
