Hi everyone,
All my troubles began when my thyroid enlarged, with major hypothyroid symptoms, but all my test results always showed normal. The worst symptom, I have been experiencing is chronic fatigue and super low heart rate 50-55 bpm at rest. Great news is, my cardiologist said I have a healthy heart, a low heart rate only means I will live a longer life, also a low heart rate would not cause the symptoms I've complained about, which is chronic fatigue.
He said from all the tests peformed, and reviewing my medical records, I developed sleep apnea, due to my enlarged thyroid obstructing my airway while I sleep. He is 100% sure, this is causing my chronic fatigue. He scheduled a sleep test with my primary, only problem is my primary never schedules appointments by other doctors.
It really saddens me that I've recieved more care from a Cardiologist then a primary doc, endo, oncologist & surgeon, who has been following my thyroid case from the beginning, over a year ago. Just because all my test results return normal, to them this means nothing is wrong. But my cardiologist always listens to me, and continues to try and find reasons for my symptoms.
I'm just sharing the good news, my condition is being takin seriously by my cardiologist, I'm not asking any questions cause no one ever responds anyway, although I do have a few concerning thyroid & sleep apnea.
Wish everyone the best. Thanks for reading.
