Thyroid TSH level

I have had thyroid disease for years, being diagnosed with Graves Disease in 1992, having radioactive iodine in 1997, then becoming hypothyroid ever since.  I have been on levoxyl since 1997 and had some surgeries and major episodes happen in my life since 2003, which, in turn, have stressed me out. My tsh level was 58.165 back in June and my primary dr put me on 300mcg of levoxyl but I could only take it for a week as I thought I would jump right out of my skin.  I have cut the pill in half and taken it every other day since then.  I have found a lump in my throat and today it is very sore all of a sudden. I also have spit up some blood now and then.  I have had the lump for over a month. I have never ever felt so lousy in my life.  Has anyone ever gone through this and if so, what did they do about it?  I also have been having panic attacks, which I have never had in my life.  I am 51 and I feel as though sometimes I will never get better.  I also have an appt with a dr  that I have heard is great with thyroid but it isn't till Oct 22.  Can someone give me some advice, until I get to the dr again?  Thanks so much in advance.

300mcg of thyroid meds is a very large dose to start with.
I think maybe you need to try and get into seeing a Doctor sooner rather than later.
The panic attacks are a side effect of unstable levels.
Please see a Doctor before oct. 22nd as your TSH is pretty high.
