Does viagra affect thyroid? What should I test for?

I am self testing at a private lab. I am diagnosed hashimoto's and take 100 mcg synthroid daily.

I am feeling hypo and want to get tested at a private lab out of pocket.

Is free t3 and free t4 enough or do I need tsh done as well?

Skip the TSH which is kind of useless and ask for the  Reverse T3 instead. If your Reverse T3 is high, Synthroid could be causing more harm than good!
Walk -in Labs has a descent price for RT3 (USA)
I would ask for a complete hormonal panel, if money is not an issue.
And BTW it's more the other way around. Low thyroid may affect "performance" and contribute further to ED.
Cheers,
Niko

Have you had testosterone levels tested to make sure Viagra is the proper drug for you?  Hypothyroidism can cause low libido, but so can adrenal issues.  If you haven't had other tests done, I'd suggest you do so.

Aside from that, talking to your doctor would be the best thing to do before taking drugs, such as Viagra or others in the same class.

I forgot to mention if you're only testing thyroid hormones, Free T4 and Free T3 are sufficient for many of us.  Since you're paying out of pocket, that's a choice you can make.  If I were choosing for myself, I'd not order it, because mine is always suppressed so it tells me nothing.
