OK, so here comes my big day!

I'm finally having my TT on Monday.  I think I'm ready. . . I seem to be "nesting" - feel the need to clean clean clean the house, make lists, get everything just so for the big day.  I'm expecting to stay in the hospital overnight, maybe until Wednesday.  Got the kids "stuff" covered.  I've talked with them too and explained that I'm having the surgery on Monday and will be home by Wednesday, and then I'll be tired, but not for long.  My son Danny (10) is special needs (had a stroke when he was born) and he seems totally ok with it - he's totally ok with everything :) but my daughter (7) seems a little freaked out.  I'm planning on spending some extra time with her this weekend to assure her everything is A-OK and I'll just be gone for a day or two.  

Plus, Danny just was diagnosed with Whooping Cough a week and a half ago - UGH! - so I've been treated with antibiotics even though I have no symptoms (thank God!).  

What a crazy month!!  AAAAH!

I went through the nesting phase before my PT two months ago! It was crazy - like I was about to go into labor again! Cleaning the tub, scrubbing the sink.

My kids are 14 & 11, and it was the 11-year-old who freaked out the most before my surgery. Must be a thing about the youngest!

Good luck Monday. We will all be pulling for you :))

I am so sorry about your hard road!!! I have a most TT going in again for a second surgery to remove the remainder of it due to cancer. GOTTA LOVE IT! It isNOT AS bad as it saounds and they DUG around my neck cause the tumor was in the nerves... BUt I am felling darn near normal now. NOW to the OR AGAIN!!! Why he did not just take the WHOLE thingout than 90% I would be on my way ro RAI in a 4 weeks! GRRRRRRRRR.. LIFE HUH? BEST OF LUCK lil lady!!!
