Thyroid range during Pregnancy

I have completed 19 weeks pregnancy. I am having Hypothyroid since last 1 year. This time my thyroid is 3.77 (II Trimester of Pregnancy). But my doctor has advised to increase the dose from 62.5 to 87.5.

As per my knowledge Thyrois range should be less than 4. When it is already within the range then why doctory has increased my dose. She is saying, it should be less than 2. Will it effect the baby if I increase my dose.

I am 29 weeks pregnant with TSH 0.09 and am taking 3g thyroid extract.  I questioned both my GP and OB about why they want to keep my dose so high with such a low TSH.  Their main aim was to keep my T3 (4.5) and T4 (9.2) in range.

I was just diagnosed with Hypo and want to get pregnant in the next year or so.  My Dr. said that when you are pregnant its imporant to get your levels tested every 4 weeks adn your TSH should be below 2 just as your Dr. said.  They say it affects the IQ of the baby if your levels are off.  I have no idea if that is correct or not I"m just telling you waht was said to me.
