To all Chickens

It has been suggested that I owe my wife dinner for some recent posts that I made while under the infuence of drugs and AR.

Let me relate this story in my defense:

When we built our house several years ago, it wasn't until we finalized the plans that we discovered that we forgot to include a place for the stove. Now this won't have as much meaning to you unless you understand that our other house needed a dust cover for the stove because of lack of use.

Taking my wife to dinner is not a treat like it might be for most people, it's the only way that I will ever get nutrition! This is the same women that once held up a green pepper and asked the grocery clerk, "Do you have any more of these avacados?" I'm glad I did marry her for her cooking.

I have grown to really look forward to reading posts on this forum. All of us are lucky to have a place to vent, find knowledge and have a small vacation from this thyroid nightmare. I am glad I found friends and can add some humor to all of those that suffer.

Thank YOU for that wonderful sense of humor you share with us.  You are a true treasure on here.  You and AR are becoming quite the comic duo and I am enjoying that more than you can imagine.   The roosters in this hen house are winning us over with humor.  =^)

I am one of the original chickens on board here and belong to the triple smile club :::))) .. actually they awarded me an add'l smile for add'l mini surgery 1/4" above the thryoid scar 6weeks after thyroid surgery to remove suspicious 1cm lump that appeared 12hrs after my thyroid surgery .. It was benign (YEAH) ...

Anyway, I guess what I'm trying to say is that the people on this board are fabulous and I'm so glad to see the humor, too, as we cannot always get hung up on the clinical side of what we are, what we seek to know, how we want to feel, etc.  I have found it is an enormous  destresser to come on the board and read the posts and have learned that knowledge is power in every sense of the word!

So thanks for taking the time to say thanks .. we all owe it ourselves for this fabulous forum that we have all created one post at a time .. it's  like building a fence .. post by post andf our job will not be done until the fence is complete.
