I am a male 37 yrs old. I am healthy, and have no symptom whatsoever. in 11.09 my TSH was 62.09!!! Since I had no symptom, I didn't take medication, then in 12.09 it was ~57, then in 02.10 it was 51. In 03.10 it was 47. In 09.10 it was 41.07. My physical performance is excelent, and I don't feel the symptoms after 11 months. I had no weight change. I have a very high Antibody (more than 1000). My T3, and T4 are in the lower range. Other than that, my last compelete blood test was normal except for the TSH, and antibody. My doctor recommended to check my TSH in 3-4 months again.
I really don't know what it is, any idea?

Hope fully the specialist will figure out what to do with my thyroid sometime this year.
This stuff is difficult. And wow on what ur going through, thank you for your time! :)

Roger Ebert is going to be on Oprah Tuesday...today...he is unrecognizable now...i read in wiki that he has/had thryoid cancer...check him out everybody if you get a chance! Scary stuff but a learning experience and I can't wait to hear what he has to say...seeing him was like life flashing before my eyes on the commercial. I am greatful knowing he will be talking to the world.
I know exactly how you feel. Mine was 273 last month. You do feel near death. I have no thyroid as it was removed. I know all the symptoms and I feel for you. I guess I would suggest just bugging your doc. to raise the dose or change the med.
P.S. I didn't read all of the posts because I just don't have the energy.
Croak...I had a goiter and it caused compression issues..I had difficulty breathing, and had sleep apnea, and panic issues because of it. My doctor told me that the synthroid would not help the compression issues and my thyroid had to go. I had Hashi's and my thyroid was a multinodular mess! :( Are they putting you off of surgery because you are in Canada and you have to go on a waiting list? (color me confused here as to why they make you suffer like they are doing) I had to go back on calcitriol today because of calcium issues again. This is getting old. It is 2 months today I had my surgery, and I was hoping I would be on the road back to not having to take calcium supplements. :(
This temporary doc...i told him how much body pain i was in...he ignored me...if he had this condition, he would find out how much the pain is...so i am not going back to him.
