What to do....

It's day 33 since I had my Nuclear Thyroid Scan, still no call from the endo to set up an appt. How long do I wait? I called the endo's office two weeks, she said the dr would review the test results and they'd call to set up an appt. I understand they are busy, but do I need to go ahead and schedule an appt with another pcp, then let him/her refer me to another dr. Nobody has gone over the results with me. I did pick up a copy from the dr's office shortly after each test and from reading that I need to get something done. I have regular choking spells with some being worse than others. I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism after my first two tests (tsh and u/s).

Thanks. I called back yesterday and was told that they are trying to verify my insurance and I should get a call soon.

Keep at them.  I always have to 'harass' my doctors for my results but it's your prerogative and your body,  who's going to care as much as yourself?  Especially if you don't feel well . . .
