When is action taken?

I have had Hypothroidism for 15 years...About a year ago I was DX with Hashimoto's and Goiter.

I have had an ultrasound but no CT Scan. The ultrasound shows the goiter measures 3.0 x1.8x1.2. There are several nodules the largest are 1.1x0.7x0.9  1.7x1.7x1.8, and1.2x0.8x1.1. other nodules are present but not as large.

The ultrasound stated there is not significant change from the first ultrasound conducted in March 2007 however I have bouts of the "horse voice", and feel like choking when I swallow...I fell like choking when I lay down too...How is it that I am feeling this difference a year and a half later and the goiter shows little change and no other action is needed???? I am still cold, really cranky and incredible joint pain in my shoulders (this is worse than before too)  consistently and feet on and off...

My labs were also done and were within normal limits Free T4 1.0 TSH .097 and Free T3 255.. my TPO was 1000

What  is the meaning of 3.0 x1.8x1.2. dimension  : is it  for NODULE or for LOBE?
Are the nodules solid or cystic?

Your TPO is not normal.

You have Hashi antibodies attacking the gland.
