Why would my SH level be 135 on 200mcg of Levothroid.

I'm confused and wonder if I should be scared.  My TSH is 135.295 on 200 micrograms of levothroid.  Shoud I be worried.  My TSH was 5 in July and 15 two weeks later.  Doc increased meds to 200mcg and then tested normal.   I sometimes forget a dose but not enough for these numbers.  Any thoughts?

200mcgs of T4 med is a high dose and even if you do miss once in a while, your TSH is high and you could go into Myexedema Coma.
Please get help asap and even if it means going to the Hospital.
Something else is going on by the looks of it.
Maybe Parathyroid glands not functioning?
Either way, you must feel like c@@p and need to gt on a T4 med urgently, and the hospital may do it via Intravenious.
Dont leave it any longer and get COMPLETELY checked.
Let us know how you go.

I'd be going to an endocrinologist. Something is not right...either you aren't taking the dose correctly....meaning don't take ANYTHING with it for at least an hour after....or you are not taking it as often as you should.......you are going hypo and that is DEADLY!!!!!!!!
Don't want to scare you but you need to be on the ball with this!

i am not a doctor but i feel you should take care of the following things.
1) take medicines on empty stomach.right after you brush your teeth.keep it linked to after brushing teeth, this way you wont forget.
2) do not take any supplements with the medicine. there should be atleast a four hour gap between your medicines and supplements. like calcium, iron tablets etc.
3) try to excercise or move a little. this also helps.
4)DO NOT EVER MISS YOUR MEDICATION. as this is the need of the body.
this is from my side.hope a doc answers your question and you get all better and back to healthy life.
best of luck
