Just got my blood test results.  Says my results show an elevated anti-thryoid antobodies but were otherwise normal.  Says my throid hormones are still in normal range and to check again in three months.  Should I be concerned?

When your doctor said that you had elevated anti-thyroid antibodies, was that based on TPO ab and TG ab testing?  Did the doctor not go any further to explain what he believed to be the cause of those results?  For example, the most prevalent cause of elevated autoimmune antibodies testing is Hashimoto's Thyroiditis.  If that is what he determined or suspected, then I'm surprised that there was no explanation of what will be happening to your thyroid glands.  With Hashi's the thyroid antibodies will keep attacking your thyroid glands over a somewhat lengthy period of time until the glands are destroyed.    As thyroid function is lost over time, the amount of meds has to go up to compensate and relieve symptoms.  Symptom relief should be all important for you, not test levels.  I think a majority of our members have gone through Hashi's.

Currently, your FT3 and FT4 results look okay.  Your FT4 is midrange and FT3 is above midrange.  In view of those test results, I'd wait 3 months, as the doctor said, unless you start having hypo symptoms.  In that case, I would ask to return sooner.  As you go forward, keep in mind that FT3 and FT4 results just anywhere within the range isn't acceptable.  The levels need to be adequate to relieve symptoms.

Please keep us tuned in as things progress.  Members will be very happy to review test results and symptoms and give you our opinions.

As a start, the most important test results would be for TPO ab, TG ab , FT3, FT4, and TSH.  If you have those, please post, along with reference ranges shown.  If not, post total T4 and total T3, if those were done.  The latter two are not nearly as useful as FT3 and FT4, but do provide some info.
