buy liothyronine online

hi all,

Re; my hashi's, currently on levo' 175mcgs

I have been taking T4 only for a few year now, I did manage to pursuad my GP to give me some T3once but he was reluctant and didn't know how to dose it and my level's ended up too high...

anyway, I've been pretty stable for a while now and my Dr is happy with my labs, however I still get the residual symptoms of fatigue, emotional things ect. I'd been keen to try some liothyronine again, however my GP work budge on fiddling with my does, "if ain't broke don't fix it!" "but doc, it might not seem broke to you, but its still a tiny bit broke to me"....... I'm convinced that I'm knowledgeable enough about how my thyriod and body work and what feels right that I could dose it myself but knocking off a tiny bit of T4 and adding a tiny bit of T3 twice a day. I definately wouldn't do anything drastic, it'd be small experimental steps...

my theory is that I have my T4 labs currently over the top inorder to keep my TSH and T3 mid range, by knocking the T4 down a touch and adding a tiny bit of T3 i'd be able to keep the TSH happy but in a more natural, harmonious way.

anyway due to my Doc's reluctance I'm going to buy online and DIY it, (don't get me wrong i reall like my Dr but he's a stubborn old git), I started looking at a few sites but they mostly seem aimed at the weightloss/steroid market, as such I'd be worried about quality and does regulation.

is there anywhere I can reliably by T3 without prescription? without getting ripped off?

many thanks, Owain

best I can offer is to email you the name of my Endo in London. She's in a private practice but she'll look at the bigger picture for you. As much as I'd like to help you out and send you my stash of T3 that I cannot use, I know it would be highly irresponsible and I couldn't in all conscience do so, in case something went wrong.

No, do not buy T3 medication online without a script; you won't have any way of knowing what you're getting and it could be dangerous.

It's never a good idea to self medicate; we've seen WAY too many people get into trouble by thinking they can dose themselves.

If you'll post your most current levels, along with the lab's reference ranges, which vary from lab to lab, so must come from your own report, we will try to help you assess the situation and comment more fully.

If you really need T3 medication and your doctor won't budge on it, you may have to find another doctor to manage your thyroid issue, and since you like your current doctor, keep him for everything else.  Check around for doctors that are willing to prescribe T3 medication and to treat clinically to alleviate symptoms.
