Is chest pain part of having Has thyroid I've gone to the ER and all test came back ok. I'm only 28 but fill like 80 I just wish i would be myself for once I been losing alot of my hair my gums are inflamed . I noticed that my neck getting bigger and bigger and my neck hurts.

I havent been to a dr since i moved to las vegas that was Oct 07
I must of gone to all the ER's in CA but but never found nothing wrong with me. The only response i get is your to young to have heart problems and said ok but young people die to and i dont want to die.
I most of lost over 30lbs form May til octo. it stated when my primary sent me to see and endo. When i get to see the endo he uped my dose with really nowing me levels stated to lose weight headaches everyday i counldnt sleep i couldnt eat went back to see him he did all the test I all that included b's andreal potassium he said everything is fine. I decided to fine a new Primary and endo once i did told him how i felt he said sounds like your taking to much med let lower your med and run new test still felt like **** sorry I called and told me ok lets lower the dose give it two weeks still having anixty all that weried stuff he suggested cut the pill in half which i did now taking 50 since oct til now fill a bit better. so

Can you post your TSH? That may also help identify some issues. Did the ER or your doctor's office run a TSH T3 and T4 those levels would help to know too. Your symptoms you stated "could mean hypo T. Were you Dx'd with Hashi? HAd your doctor Dx'd you with a goiter? IF not the neck swelling good be many things and there are other tests scans and xrays to help determine that before surgery.

The neck getting larger sounds like a goiter. If you experience coughing and gasping for breath it needs to be removed. My mother had a terrible time with hers.
HI, I WAS GOING THROUGH THE SAME THING ONE YEAR AGO, I STILL EVERY NOW AND THEN GET A CHEST PAIN AND FOR SOME REASON, TENSION NEAR MY COLLAR BONE AND IT'S ON MY LEFT SIDE WHERE MY 2.8CM NODULE IS ON MY THYROID, SO IT MUST BE CONNECTED SOME HOW.

I was getting sharp chest pain and palpitations (racing heart). They tested my iron stores - Ferritin (18 very low!) and since I started taking an iron supplement, these symptoms went away - poof!
Get them to check your Ferritin too

I know, and when you get the pain you get to panicing and it all gets worse from there. I felt like they checked everything so it isn't my heart......now I just worry about all of the other thyroid cr@p.

I also get the pain on my left side I panic and i start think that i might have a heart attack to something with my heart even thou i gone to he hospital for this porblem
Thanks for your respone well I just moved to Las Vegas NV I will have insurance by feb 1st so hopefully i will find a good endo.

I get chest pains on my upper left side. I have every kind of test you can get and nothing. From what I have figured out my hyper stage inflames my nerves and causes the symptoms. I get the same kind of pain in my legs sometimes.

Go to an endocrinologist. They will probably have to do an ultrasound and other blood tests to determine if there are other problems. I just read a post that had to do with hair and testosterone levels. You might ask about getting a full panel blood test done including testosterone, estrogen, progesterone and estriadol. Might as well ask about the adrenals, too. DHEA, cortisol, B12 and Vit D and a full metabolic panel. Someone else might have more suggestions. Keep checking your post.
