thanks for your advice.the endo was one neuro sent me to.i also seen him on pituitary network.the wierd thing is hes not on the dr endo list anymore.i was so upset by the way he treated me i went to the site to complain.he was teaching a student and acted like he knew everything.he said he dident need to look at my labs.gave me a diet plan and told me not to wast his time.told me to come back in april with some weight loss.my neuo sugeron said i can get secondary hypopituitary because of sugery.it seems every dr hears my history[tumor] and scares them off.the doctor that found my tumor was my regular neuo.she closed her office.there are no other endos aroun here.and no doctors are acepting new patients.dont know where to go to.any advice.thanks

Run away from that doctor immediately!   You might be better served by a neurologist since your problem is located in your brain/pituitary and you've had brain surgery.

Most endocrinologists deal with Type I or Type II diabetes (not DI), few deal with thyroid conditions and still very, very few deal with pituitary conditions.

You are *not* obese - you have dealt with brain tumor, brain surgery, and now DI.
Get rid of that idiot endocrinologist  (Someone needs to slap that endo around - Chicken Club unite!)

Most of us have fired an endo or two.  I fired the chief of endocrinology at the largest hospital in my state because he did the entire "you need to lose weight" and ignored my thyroid cancer.  Don't feel bad about doing it - just DO IT!

What about the doctor who found and treated your tumor??

My best to you.

Obese?  I need to introduce myself to that blasted man!!  Quit worrying about your weight, honey.   You're not that big.  Nobody who weighs 156lbs is going to die from that immediately.  Dr's drive me insane!!!

You are becoming hyperthyroid and from the symptoms your body already considers you there.  You have ALL the symptoms for hyper.

My best advice would be for you to RUN don't walk to a new dr and to Donald Trump this one!!   FIGHT!!!!!!  And continue to fight until someone helps you.  General rule on here is that it takes 6 endo before you find one who is worth a nickle.  I just fired mine and went back to my PCP for treatment.  Am not going to pay someone $300/visit to not even listen to me.

Good luck and keep me posted.
Dac

PS--don't know anything about diabetes insipidus.  I have Type 2 diabetes, but I can't help you with yours.  Sorry.
