Different manufacturers use different fillers (inactive ingredients) in their tablets. The active ingredient in all (T3) is the same. Some people are sensitive to the fillers in one brand versus another.
It sounds like you had a lot going on the last time you tried this. Your experience this time could be very different. If you have any issues with it this time, I'd ask my doctor to go back to what's been working for you since July.
If I recall from another post, you are on 5 mcg/day; is that correct? You could try splitting the pills and take 1/2 in the morning and 1/2 around noon and maybe you won't feel bad after taking it.
Beyond that, goolarra is right, the T3 med is the same for all manufacturers, but the fillers/binders can be different. I was switched from cytomel to generic about 2 yrs ago, and had no problems. I recently noticed that my latest refill is by a different manufacturer than the previous one; I've had no problems with that either.
I agree that your issue before could have been because of other things going on, when you tried it last time.
Thanks//I take only half of a 5mcg pilll, sometimes i feel i need a whole one,but according to my dr all my lab work is perfect as of jan 9th,i dont know!
Just remember that your labs are only "perfect" if you feel perfect. Symptom relief is what's so important.
Same with me - looking for a good new mfg(not Cytomel) One of the fillers really bothers my legs and back Any help will be appreciated
