Thyroid and feeling horrible after sleeping

Hi,
I am a 42 yr old female.
I had thyroid cancer 1 year ago and had a complete thryoidectomy.( also, had a complete hysterectomy in 1996 and take Estrace 1 mg.)
I have been on Synthroid 112 mcg. Doctor changed my dose 2 months ago to 100mcg because I wasn;t
sleeping, felt like I was on a constant adrenaline drip. I stayed awake all the time (literally)!
Now, since changing dose,I feel fairly well by bedtime -sometimes I hate to go to bed because I know when I wake up
I will feel horrible. After sleeping, I feel absolutley horrible, even if I take a nap during the day, I wake up feeling like I have no energy, some shortness of breath. Can anyone relate to this?
I saw my endo yesterday and she said that she doesn't think  it is related to the thyroid---your kidding me right????
I know that I am very sensitive to meds--but come on--I was doing fine until I had my thyroid removed--but it isn't related?? I am soooo frustrated. I know that something is not right, but what??
Any advice??
thanks

You have got to be kidding! You sound just like me. check out my posts. Also the one I wrote today about my visit with my new endo appt.

I don't know what to do except take a xanax or 2 to get some sleep. I have been feeling like I am going insane from lack of sleep.

I know exactly how you feel.

Did you get any sleep?  I certainly hope so.

I had to resort to ativan 1 mg atarax 1mg and dalmane 15. I was about to go psycho.

I feel your pain, really. I bought this adrenal product that is supposed to help with sleep, due to the cortisol issues. I have taken it 2 nights and so far no results. I guess I have to take it a while longer,

In the meantime, I am in no position to work, which is not good for my pocketbook.

Oh well, God knows where I am.
