I'm sorry if this is strange, but I am trying to decide what to do. I woke up today feeling very lightheaded. I'm fine when sitting, but am uable to function properly. Ihave a strange feeling that my TSH is off and the reason I feel this is because I have been extremely exhausted for several weeks. I am on 250 MCG of synthroid. My question is I can go to the doctor at 2 this afternoon, but my bloodwork won't be back for a week so I won't really know, or should I go to the ER because I will get result back soonr. I feel a little bad doing that because it isn't an emergency. Also, I'm not completely sure it is related to my thyroid. Oh, I am on synthroid from cance 2 years ago and had my thyroid removed and rai back then.
How are you? What did you decide to do? TSH usually is back next day if sent major lab.

Is the clinic connected to the hospital?
It is where I live. I can call the doctor and have him order a TSH and the report is ready an hour after the blood draw.
Not sure if that would work for you, though.

I would go to the ER to rule out thyroid med and other conditions.
