You're not alone, Shennigan.  I have had a series of emotional liability symptoms myself.  I was always moody, so I am not sure how long my bipolar feelings have been connected to Hashimoto.  Majority of mood swings happened soon after I started taking Levothroid 50mg.  I was NOT myself.  From one moment I was laughing with my friends, then bursting out at them with anger that they interrupt me, when I talk.  I feel bad for them all now, because I am the only girl in the group and they have never seen me behaving (in their eyes) crazy.  I couldn't control it.  I still can't, but it has gotten better.  I am taking my medication nearly 2 weeks and I slowly see the benefits coming back to me.  My vision is clearer, the puffiness from my eyes has subsided just a little bit, my attention has gotten more focused, and even though I thought I was going to have a heart attack, a little bit better physically.  I've gained a little bit of weight (I feel bloated) and it gives me a reason for a emotional rollercoaster.

What do you experience?  What is happening to you?  How do you feel about it?  I'd say: "unsure", but I need to say that I have hope with just a "feeling better" now.  Be patient.  Give yourself a chance to find out what's going on with you.

Yes, sometimes our emotions can get on the roller coaster and really take us for a ride; especially this time of year.  While some people get a real "high" at holiday time, others tend to get the "bah hum bugs"...... that's me and (I think) you...... Can you believe I didn't even do any decorating this year?

When are you scheduled for blood work again?  Do you feel like you might be going a bit hypo?  If you aren't scheduled for a while, can you get them sooner?
