Why has my TSH gone up on Armour when it had been down to normal on Synthroid?

Why has my TSH gone way up instead of down on Armour?

Stella is me :) --- just saw the post this morning.

Being on Armour - you're TSH should not be the taken as gold information. If you take a look at the thyroid health pages/Armour ----  you will see a basic outlook of testing times and increases needed to balance this type of med out in the system for thyroid health.

A two week testing in the beginning is best.

How recent is the switch to Armour? What dosage of Synthroid were you on? And what dosage are you on with Armour?

Tell me your labs that you had before the switch and what you have know?

Was TSH the only measurement? what other thyroid labs have you had? Hopefully you are getting the correct labs to throw some ideas out there. IS there free testing being done?

Most important question:  Tell us how you feel? How did you feel prior to the switch and what happening now?

maybe your t4 was too high when you were on synthroid only.  now that you're on armour, you now have t3 and and less t4 so your tsh is adjusting.
