Thanks Barb, this is week 5 and so will test this week and see.
You should up the dose, only after retesting. B12 is water soluble, so excess will be eliminated from your body, via urine; however, too much vitamin D can be just as bad as not enough.
I have to self inject my vitamin B12 because my body does not absorb it like I should.
You should have your levels checked regularly.
yeah, I keep taking them everday, so maybe I should up the dose??
Both vitamins B12 and D are a couple that, for many of us, needs to be better than "in range". For instance, I have to keep my B12 at the top of the range in order to feel well; same with D.
vitamin d was low but it's back in range. I take a daily vitamin that has b12 and d is copious amounts.... :)
Have you had your vitamin B12 and vitamin D levels tested?
thanks Barb, I am feeling very thyroid tired today... I wonder. It's been 4 weeks on this dose. I suppose I will wait till next week and test... I just don't want things to drop too much before adjusting.
Most doctors will test at 6 week intervals. It takes 4-6 weeks for a medication dosage to reach full potential, so if you wait 5-6 weeks, you should be good.
