I went to the endo today.  She didnt really have too many answers for me, she was really nice though.  They did a stupid biopsy of the lump in my throat i get my results in 2 days.  They are not putting me on any meds cuz they say the levels are not that far off what they are suppose to be, too bad i feel like ****...ah well i will let everyone know what happens in two days!!

I got my results, and they were negative in the cancer department, which is good, but when they poked me with the needle, that junk hurts!!  It seems to stay bigger now since I have been to the doctor.  she said that my "levels" are not far enough off to put me on anything...how do these stupid things form then?  and why is mine tender, and aching??? god i hate doctors she keeps giving me the run around and says as long as nothing changes just check up in a year!  What!??! A year, for crying out loud i don't want my neck to keep annoying me, and hurting.  I am also sick of feeling like ****...but I guess that could be from my deppression, anxiety, and stress...well I hope that everyone else is having a better day! That always makes me happy when at least someone else is happy!

I say - get the tests on the biopsy - then you know where to go from there. I would however get the results and then push that doctor to treat you symptoms. No one should live feeling bad and not get help.

Hi, I just wanted to say, I too have lump waiting to be scanned. And my bloods have been within normal range for months, as it can take ages for thyroid disease to show up properly in the blood tests, and even now they are borderline from high to low. But my Endo said yesterday, that it still causes symptoms, but they have to wait until the bloods settle hyper or hypo which they will do eventually and then they can treat. I too felt fed up until she explained that bit to me yesterday. So don't give up. You will finally get there, it will show up in your bloods properly and they can treat. Good luck.

So sorry things were such a downer for you. I understand that whole "hoped my doctor would give me answers but it just didnt happen " rollercoaster. maybe you will get better news after your results are in. Let us know when your tests back-M
