I'm in on the ringing ears and Graves.
I originally got thr ringing when some jerk threw a M80 at me 30 years ago. It got much worse with hyper. Goes away a bit now that I'm more towards hypo.

I had tinnitus right after my partial thyroidectomy. It lasted about two weeks. My doc said it was probably due to the meds I was on post-op. It has gradually gone away, though. I started taking l-thyroxine (generic synthroid) right after the surgery, so maybe keeperofallstuff is right... maybe it is connected.

I've come in search also for answers to tinnitus.
Have had tinnitus now for about 10 months...now also suddenly turned Hyper

I wonder too if it's the med...levothyroxine side effect?

I've had a hypo dx for 16 years.
Sadly undx through many miscarriages and infertility issues prior.

I really hate it when my Thyroid meds get messed with.  People who don't have
thyroid issues just don't get it.

Sorry no help to your question.....just we are both in search of answers on tinnitus!
