Usually 12.5mcg increases each time are the way to go......if you find you are getting hyper symptoms ...cut back a fraction.
My Doc did the same as yours to start with...I started on 25, then 50 then 75.
Then WHAM!
I hit hyper and had to start from scratch.
I do understand that everybody is different but as I said in the previous posting...watch you dont go med induced hyper.
If you feel good..then great.
I am happy that you are on the way to wellness.
I am not a doctor ! but can you post the numbers before each increase !
your doctor is making too big jumps !!!!!
This is a dr raising my dosage. I kind of felt that going from 150 to 200 mcg might have been a bit to much too fast and now she has raised it to 225. So I have gone up 75 mcg in 9 weeks. I was prepared for this to go a bit slower. But it's only been a few days. We are just trying to get me in a certain range with TSH and Free T4...dr's around here don't really believe in Free t3....that makes things too complicated.
hope4thegoodstuff has suffered with hypo symptoms a lot lately, tweaking her meds.

Just be careful you dont go med induced hyper and you may experience 'crossover symptoms' where you are cold one minute and hot the next.
This is the TSH catching up with the Free T's.
Get tested as you already know at any sign of change of symptoms.
I wish you all the best ...hoping that you will finally feel good :)
is that increase coordinated with your endo ?
what was the previous dose ?
what where the values of the ft3,ft4 ?
I would suggest that you adjust your dose with coordination with an endo since this is not a strepsels !!
