lipoinjection

I have paralysis in my vocal folds and the ENT is going to do lipoinjection and I wondered if anyone else has had this done and if so how did you feel after it was done. What kind of recovery can I expect. I know I can't talk for a few days but I didn't think to ask about eating or anything else.

This is lipoinjection. They go in through your bellybutton  and liposuction fat from your stomach and then inject the fat into your vocal cords. I had never heard of it before either. Pretty interesting I think. This is supposed to be really safe because it is from your body. Less chance of rejection and complications. And it also reabsords into your body naturally.

If it is botox i would be very careful.  There are now a lot of reports surfacing about how it can go sytstemic and it has been linked to a few deaths.  In some people in can cause flu like symptoms and anxiety. The FDA just made botox put a black label warning on the medicine.   The long term effects of this drug are not known .  I did a lot of reading about Botox when I first got sick.  I had just gotten Botox and did not know if it was from thyroid or botox.  I actually thing it was a combo of both.  If it is botox please read up on botox side effects before getting this done.
