Per goolarra's questions - we need to know whether you have been diagnosed with a thyroid condition and/or are taking any type of thyroid medication.

Exactly how low is your TSH?  As goolarra said, TSH can fluctuate wildly, even intraday, so having it drop over the course of a year, is not surprising.

We also need to know what other thyroid tests have been done and what those results and reference ranges are.

To directly answer your question - i know several people that this has happened to.  They are on hormone for years and never have an issue.  Then all of a sudden they feel horrible.  Most of the people I know that this has happened to, they have discovered a rapid increase of high antibodies.  SO another words, they had a slow decline on the thyroid fuction and was able to keep up with this with thyroid hormone.  Then all of a sudden this massive slew of bad symptoms pop up because the thyroid does a rapid decline but not enough hormone to keep up with the decline.   Could be the thyroid is under attack suddenly.

as far as low, are you saying Low as in over 5.0,  or low as in closer to 0?

Low TSH can indicate hyper.  You should have further testing...FT3 and FT4.  Also TSI will tell you if you have Graves' disease.

Absolutely.  TSH is very volatile and can vary by as much as 70% intraday.

Tell us a little more about what stage you're in in diagnosis or treatment.  Do you have a diagnosed thyroid condition or disease?  Are you on thyroid meds?

Please post your actual TSH results.  Were other thyroid test run...FREE T3 and FREE T4?  If so, please post with reference ranges that vary lab to lab so must come from your own lab report.

How do you feel?
