new to this

I was in emerg for 6 hrs with fast heart ,  The doc checked my thyroid said it was low 0.2 and that could be causing my symptoms ..which are .fatique ,panic attacks, palpations , migrains, blurred foggy vision ,forgetfulness, sweating, and some times to the other extreme of feeling cold ,swelling in hands, face , feet, feeling anxious or exterme tiredness. .Sometimes i cant sleep .others i can sleep forever .  My family doctor said that the test was normal .He said I was having panic disorder . My gut is telling me different . The emerg doc suggested a adrenal scan . My family doc says no . I am on 25 mg atenolol that was changed from atacand in emerg for hbp. Could these be thyroid issues .??

Thanks

get further tests done.  tsh, ft3, ft4. thyroid antibodies.  do you have those results?

you know your body and you know when there's something wrong.  don't let your doctor tell you it's anxiety without having everything investigated a little more.

It sounds like thyroid symptoms to me, although what some doctors call normal may not be normal for you. Get your lab results IE TSH, Free T3 and Free T4 Including the reference ranges they use and post them here, then members can comment and explain them to you. Its hard to respond without labs. Good Luck FTB4
