It looks to me like you need your meds increased. Many years ago, the American Academy of Clinical Endocrinologists recommended that TSH range be changed to 0.3-3.0. Your TSH is above 3.0, which indicates you aren't taking enough.
After you increase meds, you have to wait 4-6 weeks for the dose change to take full effect. After 4-6 weeks, you should be tested again and see how you're feeling. You have to keep doing that until your labs look good and you're feeling well.
i m feeling tired and some time lonleyness too.. and my weight is too high 65 kg and my age is just 23 years my weight was 55 kg before thyroid..
what should i do?
Those tests are total T3 and total T4, which are different from FREE T3 and FREE T4. TT3 and TT4 are considered obsolete and of limited use.
That being said, your TT4 is at 56% of range, which is good. Your TT3 is at 49% of range, which can be a little on the low side.
The normal range of TT3 is the numbers you typed after your result, 60-200. Normal for TT4 is 4.5-12.0. However, be aware that just being in the range isn't always enough; some people have to be well up into the range.
How do you feel? Do you have hypo symptoms?
my T3 range is 129 ng/dl 60-200
andT4 range is 8.7 ug/dl 4.5-12.0
and TSH range is 3.79uiU/ml 0.30-5.5
which is normal range of T3 and T4?
what can i pregnant again ?
You want your doctor to test your FREE T3 and FREE T4. FT4 should be about the middle of the reference ("normal") range. FT3 should be in the upper half of the range.
You will know when your meds are right because your hypo symptoms will go away.
ohk thank you so much.goolarra....
which does thyroid range to get a pregnant?
If I understand correctly, your TSH is now 3.5, but while you were pregnant, it was 8.45. Is that correct?
Does your doctor test anything else besides TSH? FT3? FT4?
It looks like you really need to increase your meds. 3.5 is too high for most of us. Furthermore, pregnancy increases demand for thyroid hormones, as you can see because your TSH went up to 8.45 while pregnant. Your doctor should be monitoring your thyroid hormones very closely during pregnancy and increasing meds as needed. First, however, you should have him adjust your meds so that you are starting out with good numbers before you get pregnant.
my thyroid range recently is 3.5 now. and my meds is SUN THYROID 50 levothyroxine sodium tablets and in starting my thyroid range is 8.45 this range was my pregnancy time .... plz suggest me now ....
Do you have the results of your recent thyroid tests? If so, please post those and include reference ranges, which vary lab to lab and have to come from your own lab report.
Before you get pregnant again, you really have to get your thyroid hormones stabilized. If your meds aren't adjusted properly, you can have a miscarriage or your baby's development can be severely affected.
What are your symptoms?
