reverse sleep med

Since I have issues with insomnia, MAJOR ONGOING problem...tried all the sleep meds, narcotic injection, 2 dramamine, 4 dramamine, 2-4 benedryl, seroquel every other remedy that is supposed to induce a sleep. No luck with it, due to my thyroid "problem"

I was wondering if anyone had this same problem, took a sudafed, or some other type of med that keeps you alert, and had a reverse reaction to it. You know, where it put you out instead of bumping up the energy.

getting desperate here, for sleep. I had thought about trying a sudafed, and decided I would see if any of my friends here have ever done this and what your reaction to this type med was.

The only meds that helped me sleep were Trazadone and Ativan taken together.

It took a trip to the ER to figure this out, Apparently my (former) PCP could tell me to take them together even though he rx'd both!

My GP prescribed me Lunesta last week. It works, but it gives no appetite. I try taking it every 3rd or 4th night. I am serious about the no appetite though, the first time i took i literally did not have an appetitie for two days. Not healthy in my situation.

I have tried ambien, and all others, but this is the only that has worked so far. Of course everyone's side effects are different.
