Do labs worsening quickly mean thyroid is dying faster?

I was wondering if worsening labs quickly could mean that my thyroid is dying that much faster?  Back in September my labs were TSH 2.060 (0.340-5.600), FT4 0.84 (0.61-1.12) and FT3 348 (210-440) and I was feeling pretty good.  I started going downhill in November and I finally had labs done on December 2nd and they were; TSH 4.420, FT4 0.76 and FT3 295.  My doc just had me do labs AGAIN before he seems me next week and they were this morning TSH 5.810, FT4 0.71 and FT3 is pending still.  It seems my dose increase in November from 37.5 to 44 has not even touched my thyroid levels.  I am hoping and praying that this damn thryoid is on its way out as I am so very sick of it all and currenlty feel like I am dying.  Could it mean what I hope?

Thanks for your responses.  Laura I love your comment of "know this is a good thing", LOL!!  I do keep telling myself that this is what happening and hopefully the destruction phase will be coming to an end soon but it's so hard when I feel so bad.  It's almost like it came out of no where but each day I feel worse and worse.

I think I might be going through that just based on my symptoms. I get the bump, then go hypo again, and my thyroid has been swelling so much these past few weeks, that it is difficult to take breath at times.

That's exactly what it sounds like. I went through a long period of time like that! Every test I had to increase, as the destruction phase started moving faster.
I have stayed stable the past 3 tests for the very first time, after a long long rollercoaster. Yeah!!
Keep your eye on the prize and know that this is a good thing.....per say.  :)

yes - in prospective - it could mean things are dying off.
