#s getting lower

doctors driving me crazy. they keep blowing me off with no anwsers.many of you explaine very good anwsers here.help me understand whats going on with me.drs treat me as if im crazy or its in my head.i gained 30pnds have brainfog,tired dont matter how much sleep i get.have heart palp &get dizzy.heart checked out ok.feel gittery alot ,stay cold &light hurts my eyes.ive had 3 test ran and drs just call & say your fine.dont feel fine im in hell.first test- TSH-[0.8] T3[117] FT4[1.3] ACTH[16]     2nd test-TSH[0.78] T3[94] 3RD test TSH[0.53] T3[86] FT4[0.8] ACTH[6]  is this normal for labs to go down.had pituitary tumor & im scared my pituitary is failing. should i be worried or give up .please help thanks

i agree with finding a new doctor.iv been to so many .i have neen to 4 specialist and i spend more time waiting for the doctor than with him.they come in look at me and tell me my tumor is gone.when i ask any questions the ask me dont that make you happy.i ask about my thyroid the test me & never hear from them again.i have all the signs of secondary hypotuitary surgon said .sent me to a endo specialist his student spent more time with me.the endo was a a$$ .he dident give me a word .just spoke over me.he said all my problems was becouse i was obise.and give me adiet plan.i weigh 156.told him i weghed 130 at diagnose he said i was still obise then.i questioned him about my labs he said i wasent going to waist his time.had heart palpations in his office.called his nurse to take me to the waiting room to make another app.how do you make them listen to you?i cant get them to take me serious.had infection coming out of my head they sent me home and called me 3 days later,telling me to pick up my meds.my faimly dr says she thinks my labs are pointing to hypotuitary but said shell give me a call.but never does.any advice on how to make them listen without tieing them down &tapeing there mouth shut?

I uderstand what you say when you say you are sick of seeing doctors and less than comfortable taking them at their word.

I've been through the same thing. The first Endo I saw didn't know much about thyroids at all. He specialized in Diabetes, and just blew me off. The Endo I am seeing now (#3), I don't trust her but I am keeping an eye on my tests and when she tells me something I question, I disagree with her and we hash it out.

I hate to say it, but you sound like you need to do some more "doctor shopping". I hate that, and it takes time and money, but there are good doctors out there. You need to find one.

I feel lucky that my GP is so good. I trust him completely. He will even run tests the Endos don't think of. He is also a very good listener. That's why he is also a very good diagnostician.  

It's the specialists I seem to have trouble with. They always think they know better than me, and ignore me untill I go elsewhere, or prove them wrong a few times. Then they start to listen. Right after they have made me sick and I am going "See? I TOLD you so!!"

Find another Endo. One who will take the time to read your medical history and listen to what you are saying. The adrenal glands may be the problem, but first you have to find a doctor willing to listen to you, realize you are ill, and care enough to run tests until the problem is found.

MY SURGERY WAS ALMOST 2YRS AGO.I HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM FOR ABOUT 3 YRS NOW.MY SURGON SENT ME TO AN ENDO TO SEE IF I HAVE 2ND HYPO.BECAUSE THAT IS A SIDE EFFECT OF THE TUMOR.BUT ENDO WOULDENT EVEN LOOK AT LABS.HE JUST SAID I WAS OBISE AND TOLD ME TO GO ON A DIET.NO ONE HAS EVEN SAID ANYTHING ABOUT ADRENAL TESTING.OVER THE PAST 4YRS IVE BEEN TO SO MANY DRS THERE SICK OF ME AND IM SICK OF THEM.IVE LOST TRUST IN DRS .MY TUMOR HAD TO GET 22MM AND INTO MY OPTIC NERVE BEFORE THEY ACTED LIKE I HAD A PROBLEM.IVE READ UP ON THE HYPO THING AND WORRIED THERE DOING IT AGAIN.DONT KNOW HOW TO GET THEM TO TAKE ME SERIOUS.IF THEY IGNORED MY TUMOR WHAT ABOUT MY LABS.IT SCARES ME TO THINK IM GOING TO HAVE TO GET REALY SICK BEFORE THEY TAKE ME SERIOUS AGAIN.I DO HAVE ANIXETY AS YOU CAN TELL. How long ago was your surgery?

It could be that your pituitary and the rest of your body hasn't settled down yet. Your TSH could maybe be bumped up a little, but your T3 and T4 look pretty good.

It's not uncommon for labs to vary slightly from day to day. I wouldn't get worried about that.

Have you had your adrenals checked lately? A lot of the symptoms you describe could be from Adrenal fatigue.

Don't give up.
There's an answer.
You just need to find it.
