ENTs are really good at thyroid issues too and labs don't always tell you the entire story (neither do biopsies).
Please, get a second opinion from someone who specializes in thyroids. I would suggest an ENT or an endocrinologist who specializes just in thyroids (difficult to find). Most endos only deal with diabetes and really don't know squat about thyroid conditions.
Yes, having your thyroid levels messed up can make you feel hot, gain weight, exhausted, forgetful, and have tender breasts. It can also mess up your menstrual cycle.
Also, a "benign" biopsy isn't always accurate. Two of my sisters had benign biopsies and both of them had cancer. The only way to know for sure is to have it removed and have pathology dissect the nodule. (Sorry but it's true)
Hang in there.

Im not sure what the exact results are for every thing they did. I know the doctors ordered a complete thyroid blood lab. They just read the results and said well you are hyper but only by a little.
I have been researching the thyroid disease more lately, but I thought surely my doctor would be taking care of me if there was a real issue with my health.
Can this thyroid problem also affect why my breast have been extremely tender more so than not, over the past 3 months? It just feels like I am, you know, on the verge of starting my menses when it has already come and gone.
LOL! I feel crazy or something with all these symptoms. Im embarrassed and feel like one of those people who think they have every illness out there.
I am hotter more than normal, my boss thinks it's menopause at 37 lol. I have had weight gain, by only about 10 lbs, but I thought with Hyper you should loose weight. I will get a copy of my results and most suredly get a second opinion
hi,
hyper and hypo symptoms can be the same, but i'd have to say your symptoms sound more hypo. What is your resting heart rate. Do you feel hot, or cold?
Is your endo only testing tsh, or has he tested ft3 and ft4. if he has please post results and reference ranges.
You need to have ft3 and ft4 tested. if this were actually secondary hypo tsh could be low along with ft3 and ft4. I think second opinion is warranted, particularly with the goitre and how you're feeling...
